Client-Bank system and safety

When touching upon the subject of financial transactions safety, in particular safety of transactions within Client-Bank system, one may note that modern technologies of software and hardware protection are at quite high level which provides confidentiality of transactions and preservation of funds. Because safety of funds is of the interest both for customers, and the banks - providers of such service being responsible not only for safety of funds of their customers, but also for their own funds and reputation.

In most cases connection between the customer’s computer and computer network of the bank is effected via public telephone lines. Therefore, Client-Bank system shall be examined by the National Bank of Ukraine for compliance with safety requirements to information exchange and other technical requirements to electron banking settlements protection. This is required for prevention of unauthorized access to customer’s account by the third persons, and customer’s access to other bank accounts, except for those specified in service agreement.

For safety work with the system you shall only be attentive and accurate, because safety means of modern systems subject to proper operation thereof guarantee reliable protection of the system against unauthorized access, modification, undesirable duplication and modification of information transferred via telephone communication channels.
